The STARCKE organization is a medium-sized independent fourth-generation family business and one of the major abrasive suppliers in the market. For almost 200 years, Starcke's abrasive cloths and papers have added the finishing touches in a wide variety of applications, manufacturing quality products.
Starcke’s corporate history begins with trade in iron and wood products as well as household commodities, which was eventually replaced by the manufacture of cleaning agents, detergents, and matches. In the course of the 19th century, the production range was extended by emery paper and sanding cloths. In the years to follow, these articles gained in significance as industrialization progressed. For almost 200 years Starcke has focused on the development and production of coated abrasives for industrial production and the trade.
Abrasive belts and discs from Starcke are constant in their quality – an important factor for optimizing your grinding process. Our products and manufacturing processes are continuously tested. This involves inspecting our product batches on a regular basis and documenting the results. Besides being DIN EN ISO 9001 and VDA 6.4 certified, Starcke also performs to individual customer-defined standards, for example in the automotive industry.
