When you’re ready to finish your shaker doors, the 10mm EKASILK PLUS sponge is the perfect sanding solution to be used on primer, paint or stain.
These abrasive sponges are made out of closed cell foam that allows for a better finish and last up to 30 times longer than conventional abrasives. Because it is both firm and flexible, it allows you to move smoothly over rounded edges and maintain the curvature. The great thing about the 10 mm is you can sand inside dropped areas, such as the shaker door, without leaving marks on the internal edges.
EKASILK PLUS 10 mm is available for all standard sander sizes (3”x4”, 5”, 6”, or 3 2/3 x 7”) and comes in Coarse, Medium, Fine, Very Fine and Super Fine grades. These products only need a light pressure to get the job done, especially when paired with our Ekasand Sanders.
